Innovation and Connections Take Center Stage in the Exhibit Hall

The Exhibit Hall at Clinical Congress 2026 will bring the surgical community together to discover new technologies, make connections, explore career opportunities, and tap into ACS resources.
More than 135 organizations will showcase tools, services, and technologies influencing the future of surgery and patient care. Exhibitors will span a wide range of categories, including surgical instruments, robotics, publishing, recruitment, pharmaceuticals, medical billing solutions, patient monitoring, and wound management.
The ACS also will have a major presence in the hall, with staff available to answer questions and connect attendees with information about membership benefits, education, quality programs, publications, and more.
Located in Hall D of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the Exhibit Hall will be open Sunday and Monday, September 27–28, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Tuesday, September 29, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Whether you want to explore new products, meet colleagues, learn about ACS offerings, or grab a quick bite between sessions, the hall will offer plenty of reasons to stop by throughout the meeting.
See What’s Next in Surgery
New technologies and emerging trends will be on display throughout the Exhibit Hall, giving attendees an up-close look at developments that could shape surgical practice and patient care. Exhibitors will demonstrate products and services ranging from surgical devices to robotics while sharing perspectives on innovation across the field.
The Innovation Theater will offer another opportunity to learn, with daily presentations Sunday through Tuesday featuring industry experts and ACS programs.
Make Connections and Explore Career Opportunities
The Exhibit Hall isn’t only about products and technology; it’s also a place to connect. Its more relaxed setting provides opportunities to meet industry leaders, fellow attendees, and faculty speakers outside of formal educational sessions.
Attendees interested in new professional opportunities can visit the Career Fair at Booth 1142 each day the Exhibit Hall is open to connect directly with recruiters and potential employers.
A new pilot program, Networking Coffee with Your Specialty, will provide another way to meet colleagues. Dedicated times and spaces will be available for select specialties, offering participants a relaxed setting to connect over coffee. Plastic surgeons and pediatric surgeons will gather on Sunday, September 27, while colon and rectal surgeons and vascular surgeons will have dedicated networking opportunities on Monday, September 28.
Find ACS Resources and a Few Extras
At the center of the Exhibit Hall, ACS Central will bring together resources from across the College. Attendees can connect with representatives from the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, ACS Quality Programs, Education, Member Services, and other areas of the ACS.
New interactive features also will give attendees more to explore this year, including the Surgical Workforce Mapping Tool in the Education Hub of ACS Central, which will provide a visual look at the distribution of surgeons across the country. Attendees will be able to explore the map and other displays while connecting with ACS staff to learn more about workforce trends and other issues affecting surgery.
Visitors also can purchase exclusive ACS merchandise, have a complimentary professional headshot taken, and pick up some flair at the Hobby Button Bar.
For a different kind of break, attendees can visit and play with adoptable puppies and small dogs from Wolf Trap Animal Rescue on Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Pause for Paws, located at Booth 430, is supported by Elsevier.
Give Back While at Clinical Congress
Attendees also can make an impact beyond the meeting by donating blood onsite. The ACS is partnering with Donate 4 Mothers and Inova Blood Donor Services to provide an opportunity to support the local community while at Clinical Congress.
The blood donation area at Booth 1308 will be open each day during Exhibit Hall hours. Schedule an appointment at InovaBlood.org/ACS2026 or stop by the booth. Walk-ins are welcome.
RAS and Foundation Lounges
The Resident and Associate Society (RAS) Lounge will return for Clinical Congress 2026, offering surgical residents and early career surgeons a dedicated place to connect and recharge. The welcoming space will feature comfortable seating, phone chargers, and beverages, along with programming focused on networking, leadership development, and career advancement.
Attendees can participate in small-group discussions with surgical leaders, learn about resources designed for early career needs, and develop relationships with peers navigating similar challenges and opportunities.
The opportunities to connect continue just beyond the Exhibit Hall at the ACS Foundation Lounge. Located on the L Street Bridge on the Second Level of the convention center, the lounge offers attendees another inviting place to engage with the ACS community. Stop by to make a gift in support of the Foundation, enter a raffle to win exciting prizes, learn about the Scalpel Pin program, meet Foundation Board members, and discover more about the programs the ACS Foundation supports. Open from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm Saturday through Tuesday, the lounge also will offer a comfortable place to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and reconnect with old friends.
